Emily is an up-and-coming classical musician who is hardworking and committed to both their studies and teaching. Since the age of 10, she has been progressing through her ABRSM theory (1-6), and piano grades (1-8), most recently gaining an ARSM diploma in 2021. Alongside this, Emily received the Marjory Baldwin bequest award for the pianoforte for their grade 6 piano exam, which is only given to students who have achieved the highest grade mark in their instrument category for that year.

Emily is currently studying for a music bMUS degree at City University, where she received a scholarship in performance. Before this, she studied at Kingston College, completing an Extended BTEC in music performance, in which she received distinction stars, and performed in various live performances. They have participated in solo work, as a concert pianist, have performed and directed in a multitude of bands, as well as the first violinist in their local youth orchestra. Most recently, they have immersed themselves in studying ethnomusicology, the study of world musical systems and their culture, and have been in various traditional Gamelan ensembles for the past two years.

Emily has a large number of experiences working in baroque, classical, and romantic styles, such as the likes of Beethoven, Chopin, or Haydn, but often enjoys playing a variety of modern music, such as pop, and contemporary. She is well-versed in scales, sight-reading, performance, singing, and listening skills, specifically tailored for students' interest in general music learning or those wishing to perfume ABRSM/LCM examinations. Due to their university teaching, and general passion for music, Emily has an expansive knowledge of different musical eras, which helps her students to have a balanced education and the skills they need to become classically trained.
