Piano Teacher Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Piano teacher to join our team at Melody Makers. The role will require the delivery of 1-1 piano lessons from our home studios in Colliers Wood SW19.
We are looking for two roles, one is to replace a student teacher position and the other is to expand to an extra teaching session.
Previous experience of teaching 1-1 piano lessons would be desirable though training Can be provided. This is a part time position for one or two evenings a week, though increased hours may be possible in the long term. Pay will be between £25-£40/hour depending on qualifications and experience.

You will need to have a high level of learning or performing on your instrument and an interest to deliver a child-centred learning experience which values and responds to the needs and interests of individuals, within and beyond your musical specialism
We will be happy to support you on your teaching journey, should you require it, an ability to be able to reflect and develop your teaching is desirable. You may also need the ability to stay calm under pressure.
You will be mostly working independently whilst you inspire the students with a love for learning and music
To communicate with and report to parents/guardians and other professionals about pupils’ learning needs and to identify and remove barriers to progress and welfare.
To follow best practice in safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion
All candidates will also require a current DBS check and first aid certificate though this can be provided if necessary.
